A practice to regain existential agency
What is Fateweaving?
Fateweaving is a storytelling practice through which we can co-create our future in relationship with our personal stories and their embodiment in the world. By reciprocally opening ourselves to the narrative, relational, and imaginal dimensions of reality, we can re-member the story of our lives rather than following scripts imposed by culture or the unconscious. By shaping a myth out of our personal story we can make it symbolically accessible, thereby it becomes a living mediator between self and world, extending from our past through the present and into the future.
In consciously relating to and embodying this myth, we can take ownership of our worldview and our way of being. This allows the future to emerge organically from the unfolding meaning of our lived experience, which is itself woven into, and woven by, a cultivated ecology of symbols.
